Although getting out from under Crowley's control may have been a victory for the Winchesters, the final moments are typically grim, as the brothers find themselves on opposite sides of the fence once again. As suggested in previous episodes, Sam comes to the realization that maybe getting his soul back isn't what he wants after all. There are times their voices are ridiculous enough to distract from what they are actually saying. And while I am complaining about smaller things, I also wish some of the male characters would find less growly ways to speak to each other. Granted, this is a gloomy, sinister world in which the Winchesters live, but there are times that the shadows are excessive, particularly in episodes that take place entirely at night, like this one. One complaint about this episode in particular is the darkness. No matter how evil Meg is however, I never enjoy scenes like the one of her being tortured and it is a relief when that portion of the episode is over. Both actresses play Meg with a down and dirty style she is willing to do whatever it takes to save herself. Rachel Miner has done well taking over the role of Meg from Nicki Aycox who introduced the character in the first season. It may be disappointing to see Samuel choose his daughter over his grandsons, but it is not surprising for members of this family. Dean's pleas with Samuel to learn from his mistakes fall on deaf ears however. This type of sacrifice for a loved one is one of the stronger themes of Supernatural, beginning back in Season 2 when John gave himself up for Dean. He fits right in with the rest of his family, trying to find a way to bring his dead daughter back. While Samuel ( Mitch Pileggi) has not been a favorite character of mine this season, it is nice to finally see some explanation for his behavior.

Castiel's admission that things are not going well in his off-screen heavenly war is an intriguing hint at things that may be coming later in the season. He may have a soft spot for the Winchesters, but he wastes no time getting to the bottom of things with Crowley and delivering the final blow when Crowley admits that he can't return Sam's soul. Misha Collins as Castiel is back in fighting form, proving once again how dangerous the angel can be. One of the more frustrating things a show can do is to keep a villain around too long, making implausible scenarios for the heroes to avoid killing off a major bad guy. However, I appreciate that the show is willing to move forward when they need to. Don't get me wrong, Mark Sheppard has been excellent as Crowley and as one of the best villains that Supernatural has had, he will be missed. Legendary, basic, and snow are supertypes. () The card types that can appear in a graveyard are artifact, creature, enchantment, instant, land, planeswalker, sorcery, and tribal. At that time, Unholy Heat isn't in the graveyard yet. Spray Paints can only be shipped to mainland UK due to security measures. The quest to get Sam's soul back may have taken a big hit this week, but it still feels like the storyline has taken a step forward in defeating Crowley. The walls melted and began to sag to the floor, yet Father Blood, wrapped in a silver cocoon of God's power, felt no discomfort. Unholy Heat : Unholy Heat checks your graveyard as it resolves to determine if it deals 2 or 6 damage.
